One of the best practices an organization, large or small, can do is train its employees against threats. We live in a highly connected world. At this point, everyone has heard over and over again to create a strong password. Many websites now require logins that have strict guidelines for passwords. And organizations will have employees reset their passwords after a certain time frame. Your company might even have a protocol for sensitive document storage and sharing. All of this is great practice in preventing hackers; however, cybersecurity policy can fall short if employees are not trained to look for outside threats beyond the computer screen.
